PRACTICE & TEACHING LIBRARY

During the six-week term, you also receive access to our practice and teaching library. The library grows gradually over time and gives you material to support your practice at home.

1 A practice that grows with you Continuous teaching and a classical Vinyāsa Krama approach. +

Group classes at Art of Yoga are not a series of isolated, unrelated yoga classes.

The teaching is a continuous process. Each class builds on what has come before, and over time you develop a deeper understanding of your body, your breathing and the practice itself.

We teach in small groups, allowing each student to receive professional teaching, personal guidance and support to develop according to their own ability.

You begin where you are. We build from there.

We meet you where you are today — but the intention is that after six weeks you have moved forward, after six months you have developed further, and after several years your understanding has become deeper still.

The practice is rooted in the classical Vinyāsa Krama approach.

We work with movement, breathing and attention as one whole. The same principles return in different forms and contexts, and with time the practice becomes clearer, steadier and deeper.

The aim is not to collect more and more postures. The aim is to understand more clearly how to practise.

2 Level 1, Level 2 and Saturday practice Foundations, deeper work, shared practice and a six-week process. +

Level 1 builds a solid foundation.

We work with fundamental movements, breathing and the coordination of body and attention. The emphasis is on learning the principles well and developing a practice that can continue to grow.

This level is suitable both for beginners and for those who want to strengthen the foundations of their existing practice.

Level 2 continues with the same principles but explores them in greater depth.

We work with greater precision, a wider range of Vinyāsa Krama approaches and increasing independence in practice.

This is not simply “harder yoga”. It is the next step in understanding and practice.

The Saturday class brings Level 1 and Level 2 students together.

It gives us more space to work slowly and go deeper into what has been explored during the week.

We work in six-week blocks because regular attendance matters.

Real change rarely comes from one good class. It develops when we return, repeat, understand more clearly and allow the practice to build over time.

That is why the six-week term is part of the teaching method — not simply a payment arrangement.

3 For new students You begin where you are. +

If you are new to Art of Yoga, you begin with the foundations.

We teach the basic principles of practice: how the body and breath work together, how movement can be adapted to the individual, and how a practice develops step by step.

You do not need to be flexible or “good at yoga”.

You simply need to be willing to show up and learn.

A deeper practice is built by showing up.
